Jharkhand Small Industries Association has strongly opposed the electricity tariff hike proposed by JSEB and placed hoardings at several places including Station Road, Harmu Road and JSIA office at Kokar.
“There is no reason to hike the tariff. A company should close down if it can not manage to collect 10% of its revenue. In last 3 years the electricity board has incurred loss of approximately 7000 crores” quoted Mr Anjay Pacheriwala, Treasurer JSIA in his press brief. Mr Pacheriwal also pointed out the ill effect of this tariff hike on small Industries which are merely surviving in current economy and poor market situation.
JSEB has failed to even install meters at VIP’s and this burden is being forced on public by this un ethical tariff hike.
JSIA will continue its agitation and ensure tariff is not hiked.
